The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I headed to the post office this morning to mail off a few Christmas packages, dreading the long line of crabby people.
I walked in and sure enough the lines were long, but to my surprise, I saw happy people. They were helping each other and guiding one another and smiling. Even the postal worker was cheerful. I saw service instead of selfishness, kindness instead of coarseness, and gratitude instead of grumpiness. It was so refreshing in this busy, bustling city to have people displaying the real meaning of Christmas through their kindness to one another even though strangers.

Merry Christmas everyone!
