Baby Meets Gorilla: The Sequel

So Katie is almost 4 months old. wow. its amazing how fast they develop. Katie is getting big (shes already in some of her 6-9mo clothes). Shes so much fun and loves to scream and yell when she gets excited. Shes starting to pull herself up and she can roll onto her side. She can also grab her pacifier and pull it to her mouth--even though she misses half the time. We love being parents. By the way, were moving this Saturday at 1:30 pm. But the best part about this Saturday is that we'll get to go to Ethan's baptism.

We're Moving!

(our old apartment)
After a whirlwind of quick decisions, we've have found a new apartment and found someone to take our apartment. We're just moving to another apartment in rexburg, but we're excited and ready for change. We have loved living here, but we felt really good about an apartment we found out about, and so come March, we'll be in a new place.

I will miss our little home that we've created here, but home is where the heart is, right? So we'll just have to make our home in our new apartment.

Our new apartment is a little smaller, but it's newer and has a washer and dryer! And we're so excited about that, let me tell you. It also has covered parking which will be nice for snow and sun. I'm also excited about the dishwasher. No more dishpan hands!!!

I'll be emailing those of you that want or need our new address.

Elder Day

Like I said in the last post, Garrett went into the MTC on Wednesday. He will be serving in the Tulsa Oklahoma mission, and we're sure he'll make a great missionary. A funny story about Garrett...First of all, you have to recall that Garrett is 6'7''.....On Garrett's last Sunday, the Primary President asked if Garrett would visit the Primary and say a few words to them about leaving on a mission. Then the Primary kids all sang "I hope they call me on a mission when I have grown a foot or two..." After the song was over, one the sunbeams looked up at Garrett and said, "He doesn't need to grow a foot or two."
Anyway, here are some pictures from Wednesday and of course, a few of Katie.

Restaurant Review

So Justin and I don't eat out very often, and when we do it's almost always fongs or craigos. However, Justin and I were down in Provo this week to say goodbye to Garret before he went into the MTC, and naturally had to eat out a bit. It was my first time eating at IHOP, Del Taco, and Panda Express.
IHOP-definitely a good choice. I got their all you can eat pancakes--which I didn't get very far because my combo came with hashbrowns, eggs (justin's eggs are better, but these were still good), and bacon.
Del Taco--pretty good, and great value, I just didn't order enough
Panda Express-another excellent choice, if you're on the run, but want more than a burger and fries. I think the value for how much you get and the quality was excellent. Great orange chicken.

So in a nut shell I had a good branching out experience. I might continue this trend.

Katie's Stretch Routine

Katie frequently stretches. She even stretches in her sleep. In fact I've never seen a baby stretch this much. So this is a video of one of her many stretch routines.
